Elizabeth's toothless grin!

Lizzy was so proud to come home on Wednesday and show me that her loose tooth had finally come out. Not only that, but if you loose a tooth at school you get to go to the nurses office and get a cool bag with all sorts of cool stuff in it. She felt pretty special for that! Yea Lizzy for another permanent tooth coming in. She told me today that she has two more loose teeth. Karlee is very sad that she doesn't have a loose tooth yet. Erik offered to help her with that but she didn't go for it. Good choice Karlee!

Princess Karlee's 5th Birthday!

It's Saturday at 7:30pm and I am EXHAUSTED! Why? At least 15 kids and 8 adults, fun, fun, fun, and one great birthday for Karlee...not to mention the hours of time and preparation that it took to put it together. It was worth it though! The kids had a great time and Karlee had her first real birthday party!
What a party it was too! We had a Royal Gala, complete with a knighting ceremony and a red carpet arrival. Here are the kids, putting rocks down on our red carpet to keep it from flying away. What great helpers!
All the girls were dressed up as princesses and they all looked so cute!
The girls made princess wands and got to put on make-up and finger nail polish!
The boys defended the castle, got cool swords, and fought off the bubble blowing dragon.
Here's the princes having their knighting ceremony. A friend of ours brought a real sword (it was not sharp at all, everyone took a turn feeling how sharp it wasn't!) and Erik tapped each boy on both his shoulders and said that they passed their bravery tests and they were defenders of the princesses. The girls also played "Pin the Kiss on the Frog" That frog got a lot of love this afternoon!
Everyone decorated their own crowns. The boys had Golden Crowns (Burger King crowns, spray painted Gold...which turned out really well!) The girls had different colored foam crowns.
Everyone had a little of Karlee's favorite foods, including PB&J sandwiches, Doritoes, strawberries, pineapple, and grapes. Not to mention the Princess strawberry cake with strawberry icing as a special request of the the birthday princess.

Here's Karlee on her Throne, getting ready to open presents.
We got pictures of all the kids with their crowns in front of our background. Here's my cute royal family!
We had a great time! We are glad Karlee finally got a "real" birthday party

Elizabeth's Art Show

Elizabeth's school had a an art show, where all the kids got to show off their art work. We all went and admired her work.

As you can see, she was very proud of it!
As usual, I had a hard time just getting Jordan to hold still for a picture!

Afterwards, we walked to her classroom so Karlee and Jordan could see where Lizzy goes to school. Elizabeth was so proud to show Karlee and Jordan the school that they will be attending with her come August. She is a great big sister...when she wants to be!
