All Elizabeth *Updated*

I went to Elizabeth's Second grade play where her teacher also gave out awards for the Advanced Reading Program. Apparently the teachers don't really like the parents to be TOO involved with AR, since they want the kids to become more responsible and reach the different levels on their own. Anyways, the first video is the part that Elizabeth had in their play. It was a play about a frog that was looking for her true place in the pond, and Elizabeth played the part of a firefly. She was a super cute firefly.

The next video is where her teacher was giving out the reading awards. Her teacher was so great. Elizabeth got all the levels before this one...she got Independent Reader, Advanced Reader, Super Reader, and the video is of her teacher explaining the Star Reader. She has done really well and I'm very proud of my little Star Reader!

Karlee was really excited that she got to get out of class and come see Lizzy's play.
Elizabeth came home with this today. "Good Job Lizzy!"

A Few Random, BUT Important Things! **UPDATED**

Where to start?

First of all, I'm finally feeling better! Not only that, but I even started my interval training today! YEAH! And I used my new watch...it's awesome!

Second, we have officially received our PCS orders, and we are going to...

Drum roll please...

Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
It's only about 7 hours from where we are now, so it's not too bad. We report in October.

Third, we have some visitors just outside our home. I was walking past our bush in the front yard and heard some little chirps, and looked inside and this is what I found.
Three baby birds.
Their Mom and Dad were not so happy that I was taking their picture, but they will get over it.

Fourth, and final, I got the cutest presents for Mother's day from my kids, but one of my favorites was a picture taken of Elizabeth by her teacher.
Isn't it cute!?! I've had this poem given to me every year for about 6 years now, but I still think it's cute! The poem was attached to the card over the hand print.

Happy Birthday Karlee!!

Karlee's birthday was yesterday, and we had lots of fun!
I can't believe that my little girl is 6!

I made waffles for breakfast, as she requested. Then I got to go to her school and have snack time with her class. I showed up a little early (during nap time) and I got to spend about 10 mins holding and cuddling with my birthday girl until naptime was over. I told her about how when she was born she was a happy, chunky, red baby who slept 6 hours a night and had lots of hair. She loved every minute of it.
Karlee 2 weeks old.

Karlee 6 months
Isn't she cute!?! Alright, just one more, here is one of my favorite pictures!

Back to the present day. When she got home from school, she was so anxious to open her presents.

She got some fun things. In fact this morning, I found her sleeping on the floor. When I asked her why she was on the floor, she told me it was because she wanted to be closer to her stuff.

After her favorite dinner (Parmesan chicken) and opening presents, we had cake and ice cream. The cake decorating took me HOURS and HOURS. I slaved over that thing, so you better
comment on how beautiful it was. ;)

I know, I know! Amazing. Right? Hey! The heart and "flowers" were a big hit! :)
My favorite thing about the next couple pictures, is Jordan's face.
So cute. So focused. So intense.
In the last picture, it almost looks like he can already taste the cake. Oh man, so funny!

Happy Birthday Karlee! We love having you in our family!

It happened! It really happened!

We are so proud!
Jordan finally got ALL stickers on his behavior chart in Pre-K!!!

You have to understand, this is a first.
We went through a really rough patch, but now I'm happy to report Jordan is back on track!

Way to go Jordan!
