A Little of October

I got a little behind in October. Sorry about that! I do have an excuse though! We actually got to go home for a wedding! It was Erik's only siblings wedding where he got to go to the sealing! All the others he was either too young, on a mission, or unable to due to the Army. So it was fun that we got to go to Katie's Wedding. Ummm...do you see the little bouquet that she is holding. I made it!
**Patting myself on the back!**

We were so busy during the time we were there that I kept forgetting to take my camera! So I only have a few pictures of some of the stuff that we did.

We mostly enjoyed spending time with family! Here are Erik's crazy-fun brothers outside while we are taking pictures after the wedding.
His brothers wanted Katie to climb up on their arms, so they could lift her up to their height!
In the end they opted to come down closer to her.

This is our table at the luncheon. Erik was enjoying his time visiting with his Aunts and Uncles!
The head table at the luncheon.
We all know how "fun" it is too smile over and over and over again, that sometimes you can't help but make some faces to break up the monotony! Well...Katie has some of the best faces ever, so I couldn't resist sharing one of the faces I caught while taking pictures! Please forgive me Katie! :-)Gotta love it!

We did picnics and all sorts of stuff with both sides of the family, and can you believe that I didn't get any pictures!!! (Unless someone from the family got some...please let me know if you did!) The only pictures I got with the Pyne Cousins was here at their Great Grandma's house. They were playing with the very old, but very cool blocks that their parents played with when they were kids!

Grandma Zeller threw a Halloween Party a little early so that the kids and I could go. I brought Jordan's costume and made Karlee's costume while I was there, but Lizzy's I had to make up out of some dress up clothes at Grandma's house. The dress she is wearing used to be a woman's very outdated long dress. I did some cutting and some tweaks and this is what came out of it! The headband she is wearing used to be the cuffs of the sleeves!

They played Halloween BINGO and other games.

They did some relay races and listened to stories.
And of course, they had lots of candy!

After we got home, it was time for the real thing.
Here is our family in costumes right before we left for our Halloween party.
Erik's costume caused quite the stir at our little party, especially since most of the people there were from our branch and this party was on Saturday night. People kept trying to convince him to go to church like that the next day. It was also out of character to have Erik dress up.
Here are some pictures from the party. They are all dancing, if you can't tell. :-)
There was a big theme of Star Wars at the party. It was pretty funny! Leah and Han were married and their son is Yoda (they had another son that was Jengo Fet, but he wasn't interested in taking pictures). Darth Vader was from a different family and the Jedi, of course, is ours and the little Chewbaca belonged to a completely different family. What can I say, Star Wars is timeless!!!

Here are a couple pictures of the kids out Trick-or-Treating. Jordan, of course, isn't in any pictures becuase he knew what was waiting for him at the doors and he wasn't about to wait around for a picture to be taken!
I should be more on top of things for Thanksgiving, so until then! Bye!
